Where episode 1 leaves you
The court has a reputation: nobody who sneaks in leaves again. Our thief came for a stone and loses his focus the moment he sees the princess. She finds him kneeling in her garden and asks what he really wanted.
He gives an honest, clumsy answer. She does not execute him. Instead she announces that he now belongs to her, and the episode ends there.
Episode 2 widens the stakes. Their forbidden bond threatens her crown, a jealous betrothed and the whole kingdom.
The fantasy realm makes a change from the household stories that fill most of the catalog.
The princess and her captive
Thalindra Sol-Kaelen is a Candy character, an adult elven ruler. The thief is the viewer's stand-in. For another court intrigue, try Sworn to the Queen.
