A morning that almost goes right
Ren is broke, so he rents out his spare room to Yama, who happens to be his longtime crush. Episode 1 is a warm kitchen scene: coffee waiting, toast he pretends to look at, and a long pause where one of them nearly confesses.
Yama tells him he is the best roommate she could ask for. They agree they have gotten almost too good at living together. She begins to say something, then waves it off as nothing, and Ren lets it go.
The doorbell ends the moment. Her best friend turns up with luggage and a cheerful hope that there is room for one more.
Episode 2 stays at premise level. The newcomer, Mira, is bolder than anyone in the apartment, and she quickly turns the sleeping arrangement into a wager.
