Colette Ramsey, a Candy character, is the dragon queen in Dragon Queen's Dark Desire, a CandyShorts fantasy of five episodes under two minutes each. It is Scorching.
A healer is sent for
Episode 1 opens on a guilty pair who know they should stop, since she is engaged to someone else. Her mother steps in with a plan: bring in a warlock healer who can cure her inability to become a dragon.
The healer asks to examine her skin, and the spell needs it bare and calls for more trust than she expected. She tells him not to look away.
Episode 2 is premise only: mystical creatures rally around the queen, and each plea she makes tests the rule he has already broken. It is a fantasy skin over a forbidden-affair plot, with enough magic to feel different from the office and family stories.
Cast
Colette Ramsey is a Candy character. All characters are adults. For another royal court, see Sworn to the Queen.
The healer is the viewer's role, so the story speaks to you directly. That makes the queen the one person on screen, which suits a short format.
