The New Girl is a CandyShorts story in five bite-size episodes, each under two minutes, with original Candy characters. Heat: Scorching, explicit once the free episodes end.
Where episode 1 leaves you
It is his first day in a new building, and hers too. She asks for help finding her way, and they get lost together. On the way he mentions his girlfriend Chloe, who told him that morning to keep his head down.
She has other plans. She needs a hand with a few things from her apartment nearby, and once he steps inside she makes it clear he is not leaving yet.
Episode 2 stays at premise level: the door is locked, and the day belongs to her.
The two leads
Emilia Vermont plays the newcomer, an adult and a Candy character. Chloe is the girlfriend who set the rules before he left. Chloe's warning comes first, so every minute he spends helping the newcomer feels like a small betrayal, and the series leans on that guilt.
