Dinner for three, bill for one
Two friends, Niko and his buddy, talk about what it costs to keep a woman like Dasha happy. Niko then admits his business is gone and the money with it. At dinner, his card is declined, and Dasha is mortified.
The friend quietly takes the check. Dasha has been judging everyone by what they can afford, and now she looks at him differently. He answers with calm instead of flattery, and she starts wondering about her own price.
Episode 2 follows the synopsis: she goes after him deliberately, he declines to chase, and she is the one who ends up bending.
Three people and a card machine
Dasha Vardosiva is the lead. Niko is her boyfriend, and the friend who pays is the quiet third point of the triangle. All of them are adults, and they are Candy characters written for the show. The trio is tiny, and each of them wants something different from the same evening: money, status or a way out of an awkward dinner. That clean setup is why the story moves so quickly in under two minutes.
