Bree Whitlock, a Candy character, leads My Best Friend's Bride, a five-episode CandyShorts story with clips under two minutes. Scorching on our scale: the free pair stays at the zipper, the paid three go further.
Forty-eight hours out
The best man counts down the days to his friend's wedding. The groom, Jake, leaves to meet the caterer and asks the best man to help with a dress fitting. That means helping Bree, the bride, upstairs.
She points out that Jake is useless with zippers and that he falls asleep early. Then she says that in six years, the best man never once tried. He tells her to stop and reminds her she was Jake's. She asks if that is so.
Per the synopsis, episode 2 keeps the clock running toward the wedding, with her interest growing louder.
The bride and the best man
Bree Whitlock is a Candy character and an adult. Jake is the groom who never appears for long, and the best man is the one with the conscience. Another trio worth a look is Couples Therapy With Margot Vey.
