A dating-profile joke starts I Dated My Best Friend Mom, five CandyShorts episodes, ten minutes at most in total. Josie Villanueva is a Candy character and an adult. The heat level is Scorching.
A joke on a dating app
It begins at a friend's place, where a dating profile pops up and the friend recognizes it as his own mother. He tells Jake to pass on it. Jake says he did.
He did not. Later he is staying over, meets Josie in person, and she is more striking than her picture. She knows exactly who swiped on her, and she asks whether he likes what he sees. Episode 2 raises the cost of that night: a secret he cannot reverse and her own child, an adult, who shows up already knowing.
Josie and company
Josie Villanueva plays the mother, and the best friend, Tyler, is the one person who must not find out. They are all Candy characters. The best friend stays offscreen for most of the opener, which keeps the tension local to one house.
