One look too many
Leo cannot stop glancing at his girlfriend's stepsister, Sadie, whose door is always ajar. She notices and says so, asking whether his girlfriend knows how much he looks.
At that moment his girlfriend shouts from the hallway that she is leaving for the gym, with a girls' night to follow. He has to answer her warmly while Sadie watches. Once the front door closes, Sadie makes clear she is free.
In episode 2, as the synopsis puts it, gym nights and open doors become routine while his girlfriend still trusts him.
Everything turns on a door that stays open and a girlfriend who trusts him. The tension is in how little anyone says.
The household
Sadie and Aubrey are Candy characters. The stepsisters are adults, related by marriage and not by blood. No licensed twin appears. A related house-sharing story is My One-Night Stand Is My Girlfriend's Mom.
