Addicted to my stepdad is a CandyShorts series with 10 episodes, each under two minutes. Kasia Michalska, a Candy character, is the lead, and it rates Scorching.
A relationship that is over in all but name
Kasia is an adult who keeps getting hurt by her boyfriend's betrayals. Each fresh disappointment pushes her attention toward the one man at home she is not supposed to want: her stepfather.
The first two episodes set that pull in motion, and the series is built on a household secret more than on a single event. Episode 2 keeps the focus on Kasia as the boyfriend problem and the home problem collide.
With ten episodes, this is one of the longer arcs. The first two set up the mood and the pattern, so you know by the end whether you want to see where it goes.
Who is involved
Kasia Michalska leads, with her stepfather and her boyfriend. All three are adults, and the stepfather's tie to her is through marriage, with nothing biological about it. They are Candy characters.
Kasia carries the series, and the two men are two sides of the same question about what she wants.
