Where episode 1 leaves you
The story is told by the husband, who admits up front that he is a married man and still could not refuse. Late in the evening Mila, the Hartleys' sitter, is still in the house. Your wife and your child are asleep upstairs, and her date has flaked on her again.
You offer her a ride rather than a cab. She says she is touched, and adds that she would be better off with a man like you. You remind her you are married. She asks you up to her apartment for two minutes, claiming she has something for your wife, and the episode ends at the door.
Episode 2 stays at premise level: the ride turns a courtesy into a question, with the ring still on the steering wheel.
A triangle with three corners
Mila Nowak plays the sitter, an adult and a Candy character. The other two corners are you and your wife, Mrs. Hartley, who stays upstairs through episode 1. If you like a triangle at a workplace, Under the Boss is the closest match.
