My Roommate's Girlfriend comes to CandyShorts with 5 episodes, none longer than two minutes. The focus falls on Sadie Ashworth, all Candy characters, and the label we give it is Scorching.
Weekend in a shared flat
Sadie is 23 and calls Nate rude, cocky and impossible to avoid in his towel. Nate says Ben is a nice guy who bores her. Episode 1 plays out in the kitchen the morning after a night the walls did not hide.
The roommate then asks if Sadie can stay the whole weekend, and Nate agrees. The episode ends with an offer from him that she does not turn down. Episode 2 keeps all three under one roof and lets the tension build.
Most of the pleasure is in the back-and-forth. Nate never softens and Sadie never walks away, which tells you where the series is going well before the end of the episode.
The three roommates
Sadie Ashworth, Nate and Ben are adults and Candy characters.
Ben is the nice one, and the series uses that against him. Nate and Sadie get most of the screen time.
