The wedding week begins
Your father marries on Saturday and has made you best man. Margot, his bride, is 34, and the hero is 26. They are adults related only by the coming marriage. She jokes that he may call her Mom if he likes.
Dad tells his son to do whatever Margot needs this week. Soon she asks him to zip her dress, since her groom must not see it before the wedding. When the dress is on, she asks how she looks, and she tells him what the best man's real job is.
Episode 2 follows the synopsis: Dad is one room away, the maid of honor is Margot's stepsister, and the bride still wants more.
Margot treats the week like a to-do list, and the best man is the only one who can finish it.
The bride
Margot Vey is a Candy character. Everyone is an adult. For another stepmother story, see My Stepmom Mia Malkova Needs a Date.
