Welcome home, rule one
The son arrives for a visit, and his father is away on a work trip. Veronica is delighted to be the only host. She calls the first rule at the door: he does what she says.
He mentions his girlfriend, and she barely reacts. She sends him to the hot tub to unwind, then hears he is about to get a surprise visit from that same girlfriend, and she moves fast. Rule two bans him from calling her that day.
He objects. She answers by telling him when to be out of the shower. Episode 2 is a premise for us: the rulebook keeps growing while the girlfriend's arrival gets closer.
Who is in the house
