Meet the roommate
Rose introduces herself to the camera as the person everyone knows. Her routine is simple: look good, have fun, repeat. Her roommate is the useful one, the quiet man who covers the chores and rarely leaves his room.
The clip closes with her calling out to him, and she has changed the lock on his door to make it easier to peek through. Whether he takes the invitation is the hook.
The official line for episode 2 describes teasing that turns into an emotional game, where each exchange feels like either a reward or a punishment. We stay at that level.
Who is who
Rose Edwards is a Candy character. She and her roommate are adults sharing a rental, and the dynamic is hers to control. The roommate is the audience stand-in who keeps saying yes.
