Kent, just before the introductions
Episode 1 begins in the car park energy of an arrival: Mona and her stepbro are about to meet the host family they will share a roof with all summer. They trade teasing, and he gets reminded that these people are very formal and that he should act like it. Mona, naturally, enjoys herself far too much, and she mentions that the hosts have two sons around their age.
Then Charlotte, a member of the host family, steps into view, and the mood in the hall tilts. The episode stops on her bold first move, so the well-ordered house is losing its manners before lunch.
We have no notes on episode 2. From the synopsis, expect Mona's on-and-off crush on him to keep colliding with the rules of the house.
Who is in it
Mona Newman is a Candy character. The Kent household is all adults, and the stepbro tie comes from a marriage, not from blood. If you like Mona in other settings, try Mona's Worst Enemy.
